Policing in the Parish
A Message from Paul Downey
Good morning all,
I am sorry to say but I will be moving on to pastures new very soon.
I have been offered a post as a Witness Care Officer in Runcorn, which will start on September 11th. Due to my Annual Leave and Rest Days, this Tuesday, the 21st August, will be my last day.
I am so sorry it has happened so quickly, but I have been waiting for a formal offer, and then my current and future departments agreeing a start date. This has now been sorted and with my pre planned holidays I will be gone before you know it, and without the chance to say a proper goodbye.
Your new PCSO will take up the post immediately. She is based over at Dragon Hall (Malpas), and has been with the force for a good few years now. Her name is Rachael McKevitt, and I will be preparing a handover for her and getting her out to as many places as possible on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. As Rachael works part time, I’m not so sure there will be enough time on these afternoons to get out to see everybody across of all of the villages I cover, so please forgive me if we don’t get to see you. I will of course pass on all of your details, unless you say otherwise?
May I take this opportunity to thank you all so much for making me feel so very welcome within the communities of Dodleston and Pulford.
I really have enjoyed my short time with you and I am sure you will enjoy working with Rachael.
Best wishes,
Paul
